This issue can in most cases be resolved by following the below steps:

- Log on to the respective Exchange 2003 Server
- Click Start > Run and type Regedit
- Drill down to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mi*crosoft\Microsoft Integration
- Delete the key: 13F9F3AF-9463-4492*-854A-191CCC441FDB
- Run the Exchange 2003 Server service Pack 1 installation wizard again

Thanks... I received same error message when I tried to use exchange 2003 server SP 1 to an Exchange 2003 Server. I'll try this later. What could be the reason why I kept on receiving this error message?
