Its still hanging in there.. Although I was never a huge fan. I guess because at work we have Microsoft Exchange and we are forced to use Outlook.

Here is a older review of Outlook VS Thunderbird from CyberCity

It's not the hottest thing and most companies if not all don't really use it. It's just hanging around like it was stated before.

Mozilla Thunderbird 2 is reloaded and more powerful than ever. It’s now even easier to organize, secure and customize your mail.

How long has Thunderbird been on the market? (Perhaps being named after a cheap bottle of wine was a bad idea for an email service!)

Question Never heard of it.

I had never heard of Thunderbird either. Is it similar to Microsoft Outlook? Is it free to download?

I'd never heard of it before either, but I have definitely heard of Mozilla.

Is Thunderbird included in the Firefox browser download?

I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for the last 3 years. All I can say is that this little program is very sweet, especially the in-built plugin support. It is not integrated with the Firefox download, but you can download it for free from the Mozilla site where all their projects are listed.

Thunderbird seems strange to me huh! I have used Mozilla before as advised by a friend but he never mentioned about using Thunderbird as well.
